The Challenge

The basic requirement for the project was Salesforce integration with SAP for customer, order, and product information. The client needed integration between SAP and Salesforce. They also wanted to setup Order management within Salesforce and integrate it with SAP.

The Solution

We Build the Order management integrating SAP with Salesforce

Created custom objects: Sales Order and Order Line Item.

Sync Sales Orders with SAP.

Check if there are any Order Line Items associated with the Sales Order.

If there are no Order Line Items, stop the syncing process.

If Order Line Items exist, open a new popup displaying the SAP Price List based on the selected product in Salesforce (SFDC).

Add additional details to the Sales Order.

Set up an Approval Process for the Sales Order.

Only sync the Sales Order with SAP after it has been approved by the manager.

If the Sales Order fails to sync with SAP, send an email notification to the user, informing them that the record will not be synced.

Set a scheduler to check for un-synced records every 2 hours.

The Result

The different client business processes automated during the project were order management.

The team created a custom API to delete the Delivery, Inventory, Sales Plan Maintain, and Projected EBITDA records obtained from the SAP API.

In the report, only newly synced data for the objects were shown.
