The Challenge

The client required a wanted an integration between Salesforce and PHP to build the Installer Portal. The major challenges were developing automations to get the credit decision of the loan based on certain CBC data calculation and syncing both Salesforce orgs.

The Solution

The project was an integration between Salesforce and PHP.

The front-end was developed using Laravel and all automation and REST APIs were developed in Salesforce.

The project included the following major features and processes:

Dynamic payment calculator in Apex which included whole payment information such as EMI, total payments, financing cost based on loan amount and loan term.

Syncing different Salesforce orgs.

DocuSign with Apex Toolkit to send different types of documents to the customer on different conditions.

CBC data and homeowner data stored in an organized and simple way on one platform with some calculations and automations.

Plaid integration to check credit history of Installer before onboarding them on the portal.

Google Drive integration to upload files with complex folder structure requirements.

Convert dynamic HTML files to PDF using Rest APIs of PDFCrowd

The Result

Onboarding process of Installer/Salesforce on Portal.

Salesperson can submit the loan application and show the approval result by considering certain criteria for credit decision.

Salesperson can track the loans and based on that can do necessary action such if loan is approved then they can be able to send loan agreement, if loan agreement is signed then can be able to upload hic, etc.

The implemented solutions helped the client generate the following reports/metrics:

  • Installer and stage vise total volume/loan amount of loan applications.
  • Total revenue/profit earned.
  • No. of loan applications rejected and what was the most common reason.
  • No. of loan applications closed lost and what was the most common reason.
  • Sales by month, by installer.
