The Challenge

The client required a portal for homeowners to view loan opportunities and download specific documents related to their loans such as loan agreements, home improvement contracts, etc.

They also wanted homeowners to be able to make payments, view payment details such as next due dates and EMI amounts, and perform necessary actions related to their loans.

The integrations required were between Salesforce and PHP, Salesforce/PHP, and Concord.

The Features

Integration between Salesforce and Laravel, Salesforce and payment/loan service company. PHP (Laravel)was used only for frontend other than all automations and Rest APIs were developed in Salesforce.

Automated the process where once the homeowner signs the loan agreement, it will create an online account for the portal.

They can log in anytime with the email address and password associated with their loan.​

With a single portal, the user can view loan opportunity details, documents, and can perform necessary actions such as making a payment.

The Solution

The major technical challenges resolved were creating an online account for every borrower when the loan reached a certain stage and implementing functionality using rest APIs and Salesforce automation tools where users can view their loan opportunity details with documents and make a payment of loans on the same portal.

The integrations implemented were:

• PHP -> Salesforce,
• Salesforce -> Concord (Loan Service Partner)

The Result

The different client business processes automated during the project were the back-office staff’s manual process to onboard the borrower on one payment/loan service portal to do online payment of EMI, next payment due date, due amount, etc.

Borrowers had no option to see documents related to their loans, such as loan agreements, HIC, PTO, etc. Therefore, a portal was developed where borrowers can see all the above details and perform actions related to their loans.
